WHO WE ARE

Construction Anglia, powered by Friel, launched in February 2020 to connect people across the construction industry in the East of England. The platform provided a hub to share the latest construction news, celebrate business achievements, promote industry events, and create valuable networking opportunities. The first ever Women in Construction Anglia event took place in October 2024 and the feedback has been incredible so far! Students appreciated being introduced to successful females from the industry, learning about the career paths available to them and hearing the panelists share their own stories.

OUR MISSION

We want to play our part in bridging the gap between industry and education, providing students with visible female role models, something the industry seems to be lacking.

OUR STORY

As Construction Anglia grew, so did the demand for a women’s network within the industry and we were inspired to launch ‘Women in Construction Anglia’. Women in Construction Anglia is an inclusive network designed to bring women together to connect, share news, inspire one another and pave the way for the next generation of females in construction.

THE TEAM

The team at Friel are looking forward to growing this community. Sign up to our mailing list to make sure you are the first to hear about our news and upcoming events!
